The Mortimer Trail is a way-marked 30 mile walk through the heart of ancient lands, once owned by the Mortimer Family. Rich in natural history and heritage, the trail passes through the domain of deer, buzzard and kite; touching on three rivers otter, kingfisher and heron can also be seen. Journeying through castle ruins, battle sites and hill forts with breathtaking scenery; picturesque villages and plentiful wooded areas; delightful views to the Black Mountains, Radnor Hills and the Malverns.
